http://www.lifeplanningmatters.com and http://www.coachingubeyond.com are the sites of Nigel Brown, expert in life planning, and a friend of the Making Allowances team.

http://www.sb.gov.bc.ca/ is a great place to start if you are thinking about starting a business. Has a great Q & A section, lots of great ideas to get you started, and lots of help for putting together a business plan.

http://www.quicken.ca/ has information about Quicken financial software, stock quotes and an online contest where you compete with $500,000 in pretend money, investing in a portfolio of stocks, trading them at the real-time market value.

http://canstock.com/  this Canadian site has detailed stock quotes which include information not available on other boards.

http://www.stockhouse.com/ has stock quotes and very good charting options. This site is especially strong for Canadian and Australian stock exchanges.

Investing Canada is a really sharp site put together by Marco den Ouden of Vancouver. In addition to lots of great financial resources and advice, Allowances Dollars and Sense is reviewed as well.

Netscape's Games area includes some excellent online games. Play them live for free!
